From design to production

A complete and robust collection is the life’s work of several generations of Van Bommel. Every shoe exudes quality and creativity. To monitor this, insight into the state of the collection is critical. Together with FlowFabric, Van Bommel is taking steps to optimize shoe development further.

We are very pleased with the collaboration. It clicked from the first moment. We keep each other sharp and make good use of complementary expertise, Reynier concludes.

During the production process, Van Bommel shoes undergo an average of 280 specialist actions. Reynier van Bommel, CEO of Van Bommel: “FlowFabric’s industry knowledge and experience in automating complex wholesale processes help us to create a future-proof Process Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment.”

“To keep up with the changes in Van Bommel’s playing field, speed, flexibility, and maneuverability were paramount in the search for a new PLM environment,” says Reynier. Van Bommel found a partner in FlowFabric where expertise with PLM systems and the software development platform Mendix come together.
